Nigeria forward Peter Olayinka has officially terminated his contract with Serbian club Red Star Belgrade.
According to a statement released by the club, the 29-year-old personally requested to leave, bringing an end to his stint with the Red and Whites.
Olayinka joined Red Star in 2023 from Czech champions Slavia Prague, where he enjoyed a successful spell, scoring 14 goals in 46 league appearances.
However, his time in Serbia was less fruitful, as he struggled for regular playing time under manager Barak Bakhar.
With his contract now terminated, the versatile forward is free to sign for a new club ahead of the January transfer window.
