Popular TikTok content creator Peller has tendered a public apology to Oginika, the woman he confronted during a recent altercation at a restaurant, admitting that his response was inappropriate while attributing it partly to sustained online criticism.
The incident reportedly began when Oginika cautioned Peller over his loud behaviour at the establishment. What followed was a heated exchange that was later shared online, triggering widespread condemnation from social media users who described the influencer’s reaction as disproportionate.
Responding to the backlash during a livestream, Peller acknowledged that he was at fault and expressed regret over how he handled the situation. He explained that the intense volume of negative comments and attacks he has faced online in recent times affected his emotional state and contributed to his outburst.
“I’m sorry about what happened at that food place,” Peller said, describing himself as “traumatized” by the level of hostility he experiences on social media. He noted that real-life criticism now feels heavier due to the constant online scrutiny.
While apologising directly to Oginika, the content creator also suggested that people should be mindful of how they address others, adding that he found her approach disrespectful.
The apology comes amid renewed public attention on Peller’s personal and professional life, following previous controversies and statements that have kept him in the spotlight.
Despite his justification, many online users have continued to stress the importance of accountability, urging public figures to manage conflict calmly regardless of external pressure.
