Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has responded to speculation surrounding her relationship with fellow actor Kachi Nnochiri, following a viral video that triggered conversations on social media.
The rumours surfaced weeks after reports of Peggy’s separation from her husband, actor Fredrick Leonard.
Earlier in the year, the actress had removed Leonard’s name from her social media bio, a move that drew attention from fans and fuelled speculation about trouble in their marriage.
The latest discussion began after a video from a recent event circulated online. In the clip, Peggy and Nnochiri appeared dressed in similar outfits as they walked into the venue together, with the actor holding her arm.
The moment quickly sparked rumours of a possible romance, with some social media users accusing the actress of moving on too soon after her reported split.
However, Peggy dismissed the claims while reacting to the video on Instagram.
The actress clarified that Nnochiri is married and explained that he was simply assisting her as they entered the event.
“Kachi is happily married, una don start. He was helping me because of my heels,” she wrote.
