Veteran broadcaster and actor Patrick Doyle has expressed admiration for the progress his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle, has made in her career since their separation.
Speaking on Wake Up Nigeria, Patrick addressed questions about his relationship with the actress, who confirmed their divorce in January 2023.
The broadcaster said he prefers to remain silent rather than speak negatively about her, emphasizing his respect for her accomplishments.
Responding to how she has fared in the film industry, he said, “I’m happy for her that the Doyle name has opened doors for her. And so far, she hasn’t disgraced the Doyle name.”
Patrick added that he is proud of her growth and continued success, noting that she has upheld the reputation associated with the family name.
“She’s doing pretty well, and I am proud of her achievements in the industry,” he said.
