Amara, the second daughter of Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, is reportedly preparing to press charges against her father over alleged physical assault.
The development comes amid Pastor Okafor’s ongoing public dispute with actress Doris Ogala, who previously accused him of failing to fulfil a marriage promise after an eight-year relationship and of inappropriate conduct with married church members.
In response to Doris’ claims last year, Okafor allegedly had the actress arrested. Following her release, Doris rejected an alleged $10,000 settlement offered by the pastor.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Doris shared videos suggesting that Amara was physically assaulted by her father. She alleged that Amara was stabbed multiple times after confronting Pastor Okafor about bringing married church members into the home. Doris also claimed that Amara was stripped and beaten during the incident.
“This is Amara, Chris Okafor’s second daughter. How can a father do this to his own daughter? Haba, this is too much,” Doris wrote alongside the videos.
She added that Amara had witnessed numerous alleged atrocities at her father’s residence and that the assault occurred after Amara caught him in a compromising situation. Doris confirmed that Amara is now ready to pursue legal action.
The case, which combines family conflict with church-related controversy, has already drawn significant attention on social media and is expected to escalate as formal charges are filed.
