
Parents of Litein Boys’ High School have gone to court over what they term as unexplained levies imposed on them following every unrest. According to the parents, each student has been directed to pay over Sh49,000 purportedly to repair damages from the latest unrest.
According to lawyers representing the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), the pattern is suspicious because every time there’s a strike, parents are asked to contribute large sums of money.
