Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Oxlade has taken a moment to reflect on his journey, thanking those who supported him long before his global success.
In a heartfelt post on X, the “Ku Lo Sa” hitmaker acknowledged that not everyone recognizes an artist’s potential early on. He expressed gratitude to loyal fans and early believers, describing them as his “first investors.”
“I know this isn’t meant for everyone to see,” Oxlade wrote. “But for those that saw the light early enough, those that didn’t need to see me succeed before they started to believe… I just wanna thank you. Cause no be everybody fit see am that early before e start dey make sense. I cherish the early investors in my stocks. Una own no go actually spoil.”
Oxlade’s unique blend of Afrobeats and contemporary sounds has won him a global audience. His breakout single “Ku Lo Sa” earned international acclaim, followed by the success of projects like Oxygene and Oxlade From Africa (OFA).
Over the years, he has sold out venues worldwide and collaborated with top names such as Sarkodie, Flavour, and British rapper Dave.
For Oxlade, the unwavering support of his earliest fans remains a reminder that true belief often begins long before the spotlight.
