The turmoil within the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) shows no sign of abating, with tensions seemingly escalating from orange to red. Deputy Party Leader Godfrey Osotsi has accused Party Leader Oburu Oginga, Director of Campaigns Janette Mohammed, and National Chairperson Gladys Wanga of ignoring party trustee Ida Odinga’s calls for dialogue. Instead, they allegedly rushed a central committee meeting and initiated other meetings, sidelining party Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna, the official spokesperson.
Osotsi argued that the new party leadership should prioritise Raila Odinga’s pending agenda, including the ODM-UDA MoU, which has a deadline of March 7.
