Ekol Sports commentator, Ergin Keleş, has hailed Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, describing the Nigerian forward as “a serious force in his own right.”
Keleş said Osimhen’s energy and work rate make it feel like Galatasaray are playing with extra men on the pitch.
“Osimhen is a serious force in his own right. When you watch him live, it really feels like he is making your team play with two more players,” Keleş told Habersarikirmizi.
The Turkish pundit also noted that the striker’s reported height appears understated.
“Osimhen’s height is reported online as around 1.85m, but I don’t think it’s possible. He must be at least 1.90cm.”
Keleş went on to praise Galatasaray’s attacking unit, adding:
“It’s a pleasure to watch players like Icardi, Osimhen and Leroy Sane playing together. İlkay Gündoğan also sets the rhythm for Galatasaray.”
Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray from Napoli, played a pivotal role in the club’s Turkish Super Lig title win last season. The 26-year-old will once again lead the line when Galatasaray face Bodø/Glimt in their UEFA Champions League clash tonight.
