Nollywood actress Victoria Akanke Ajibola, popularly known as Omo Local, has shared details of the personal crisis that led to the breakdown of her marriage.
In a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, the actress recounted how she discovered that both she and her best friend were pregnant for her husband at the same time.
According to Omo Local, she was five months pregnant when she learned that her close friend was also expecting a child for her husband and was three months along.
The revelation, she said, left her emotionally shattered and overwhelmed.
“I was five months pregnant, my best friend was also three months pregnant for my husband,” she stated during the interview. “The trauma was so much to the extent that I took poison because of shame.”
The actress explained that the incident marked a turning point in her life and ultimately led to her decision to leave the marriage.
Speaking about her former friend’s current situation, Omo Local said she no longer has contact with her and is unaware of her whereabouts. However, she noted that the woman and her ex-husband went on to have about three children together after she exited the relationship.
The actress’ disclosure sheds light on the personal struggles behind her divorce, offering fans a glimpse into the challenges she faced away from the spotlight.
Omo Local did not provide further details about her former husband but maintained that the experience significantly impacted her life at the time.
