Veteran Nollywood comic actor Wale Akorede, popularly known as Okunnu, has intensified his long-running dispute with Olasco Films, following fresh remarks from the movie marketer.
The disagreement stems from a film project produced over a decade ago. Okunnu previously alleged that he produced and directed a movie for Olasco Films but did not receive his share of the proceeds. He claimed the issue has remained unresolved for 16 years and stated that he cannot forgive the marketer.
Responding in an interview with Tunde Ola-Yusuf, Olasco dismissed the allegation and described the actor as ungrateful. He maintained that he provided Okunnu with N2 million to produce the film.
The exchange escalated after Okunnu reacted in the comment section of the interview post on Instagram. The actor signalled that he is prepared to address the matter publicly and decisively.
“I’m still coming for you in a BIG way. My silence for 16 years is coming soon,” he wrote.
The renewed clash has drawn attention within Nollywood, with industry observers closely watching how the long-standing dispute will unfold.
