American rapper Offset has admitted that his own mistakes and infidelity played a major role in the breakdown of his marriage to Cardi B.
Speaking on The Keke Palmer Show podcast, the former Migos member revealed that his poor decisions cost him the relationship, which remains legally unresolved.
“I messed up, and it cost me my marriage,” Offset said, expressing regret over his actions. Despite their separation, he maintained deep respect for Cardi, whom he affectionately referred to as “bro,” clarifying that their divorce has not yet been finalized.
Reflecting on his emotional journey since the 2022 death of his cousin and Migos bandmate Takeoff, the rapper said grief had pushed him toward self-reflection and personal healing. He credited therapy and faith for helping him overcome addiction and regain balance in his life.
“I’m focused on becoming a better man now,” he shared.
Offset also addressed long-running rumors linking him romantically to fellow rapper Saweetie, calling the speculation “completely false and unnecessary.”
“That whole Saweetie thing was just weird,” he stated firmly.
The rapper’s candid revelations mark one of the few times he has publicly discussed the breakdown of his high-profile marriage, offering fans insight into his ongoing path toward accountability and renewal.
