Nottingham Forest manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Ola Aina will undergo medical tests after sustaining a hamstring injury during Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with South Africa in Blomfeinteim on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old defender was forced off in the 10th minute, with Bright Osayi-Samuel taking his place. His availability for Forest’s Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday is now in doubt.
“I think we’ve got a clean bill of health, apart from Aina. We will get some information on him this afternoon after some scans,” Postecoglou told reporters.
Aina, a former Chelsea player, has made three league appearances for Forest so far this season.
