Nollywood actress Doris Ogala reportedly attempted suicide following the end of her relationship with Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry.
The incident occurred after Ogala discovered that Okafor had ended their romance to propose to another woman. In distress, the actress stabbed herself in the hand, causing heavy bleeding.
Actor Digidi Dunhill shared footage of the aftermath, showing him taking Ogala to the hospital and pleading for intervention. “Please I don’t know who this Chris is. Whoever you are, please you have to come to her aid because she cut hand. Doris, are you trying to commit suicide?” he said.
DAILY POST reports that the suicide attempt followed Ogala’s public accusations against Okafor on December 13, 2025. She claimed that their relationship, which began in 2017, involved promises of marriage that were later broken.
Ogala alleged that she once became pregnant for Okafor and accused him of exploiting her financially, leaking intimate videos, and compelling her to leave her previous marriage.
“After everything, after promising me marriage and disgracing me like this, turning my life upside down, you want to marry? I saw the proposal video and it’s not adding up to me. My heart is broken,” Ogala wrote.
She further stated that Okafor distributed her private videos through legal channels, adding: “Your lawyer carried the video and gave it to my lawyer. My sex video with you, you carried my body and sent to your lawyer, and your lawyer sent it to another lawyer that sent it to my lawyer.”
The allegations come shortly after Okafor, known as the “generational prophet,” announced his engagement to another woman, intensifying the public scrutiny surrounding the private dispute.
The incident has sparked widespread concern and debate online regarding celebrity relationships, privacy, and mental health, highlighting the emotional toll of public scandals.
