The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has commended the success of filmmaker Omoni Oboli’s latest production, Love in Every Word: The Movie, after the sequel crossed 13 million YouTube views just one week after its release.
The film, which dropped seven months after the original Love in Every Word, recorded an impressive six million views within its first 24 hours, ranking among the fastest–rising Nigerian film releases on YouTube in 2025.
Produced by Omoni Oboli, the romantic comedy–drama stars Patience Ozokwo, Bamike Olawunmi (Bam Bam), Uzor Arukwe, and several other Nollywood talents.
In a post shared on X on Monday, the NOA hailed the achievement as a reflection of Nigeria’s growing creative influence.
“This is not just about numbers — it is about the global appetite for our stories. Nigerian narratives are resonating because they are authentic, relatable, and powerful,” the agency said.
The NOA added that such milestones affirm the creative industry’s role as one of Nigeria’s strongest global exports.
“When Nigerian filmmakers win, Nigeria wins. Our creatives continue to show that cultural content is not just entertainment, it is soft power,” the statement added.
Love in Every Word: The Movie explores themes of love, resilience, culture, and comedy, striking a strong chord with younger audiences across digital platforms.
The film continues to trend on social media, with viewers praising its emotional depth, storytelling, and production quality.
Additionally, the movie has sparked cultural interest in certain language expressions, including the word “Achalugo,” which many fans now use as a romantic term for beautiful women in love.
