Super Falcons star Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named among the finalists for the 2025 Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper Award, further cementing her reputation as one of the most outstanding shot-stoppers in global women’s football.
The Nigerian international appears on the prestigious shortlist alongside several of the world’s top goalkeepers, including Hannah Hampton, Ann-Katrin Berger, Cata Coll, Christiane Endler, Anna Moorhouse, and Phallon Tullis-Joyce.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a standout year, highlighted by her impressive performances for Paris FC, where she helped the French side lift the Coupe de Féminine title in May.
Nnadozie also delivered a dominant showing at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, playing a crucial role in Nigeria’s successful run. She kept four clean sheets during the tournament and earned the Goalkeeper of the Tournament accolade.
Her exceptional form continues to attract global recognition. In addition to being shortlisted by FIFA, Nnadozie was nominated for the inaugural Female Yachine Trophy and is once again in contention for the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year — an award she aims to secure for the third straight year.
