Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja runs on the motto “Nairobi Lazima iWork”, which propelled him into office. But three years into his tenure as governor of the capital city, growing complaints suggest the opposite.
So much so that President William Ruto is following in his predecessor’s footsteps and appears to be forming a carbon copy of the Nairobi Metropolitan Services, otherwise known as NMS, the very entity whose mandate Sakaja brought to an end.
