Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has voiced her displeasure over what she sees as a growing absence of sincere support and an increase in envy-driven behaviour among people today.
In a candid Instagram post, she criticised the tendency of individuals to undermine others rather than collaborate and grow together. Blessing noted that while some thrive through partnership, others choose unhealthy competition or quietly hope for the downfall of those around them.
She questioned why people hold on to bitterness despite life’s unpredictability, stressing that genuine support benefits everyone. According to her, “it costs absolutely nothing to lift the next person without hate or envy.”
Her remarks, delivered partly in pidgin, echoed a broader call for unity, empathy, and collective progress within society.
