Celebrity Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has been remanded at Kuje Correctional Centre following his arraignment at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday, April 1, 2026.
He faces multiple charges, including impersonation and forgery, related to his alleged misrepresentation of fellow crypto personality VeryDarkMan.
According to VeryDarkMan, Blord forged flight tickets and falsely claimed that he had been paid ₦500 million to act as a brand ambassador for his Blunt Gadget app. Promotional materials, including billboards and flyers featuring VeryDarkMan’s image, were reportedly used without his consent.
Sharing a video of the proceedings on Instagram, VeryDarkMan confirmed that Blord will spend 26 days in Kuje Prison, meaning he will be behind bars during the Easter period.
The case has drawn significant attention within Nigeria’s cryptocurrency community, raising concerns about the verification of partnerships and endorsements in the rapidly growing sector.
