Niger Tornadoes technical adviser, Majin Mohammed, has appealed to the club’s supporters to remain calm following their 2-1 home defeat to Abia Warriors in a Matchday 11 NPFL fixture at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna.
Mohammed said the loss was a normal part of football and expressed confidence that the Ikon Allah Boys would bounce back in their next outing.
“What happened in the game against Abia Warriors is common in football. We also went to Kano and got three points. We will prepare again to see what we can also get in Bauchi against Wikki Tourists,” he told the club’s media team.
Niger Tornadoes currently sit fifth on the NPFL table with 17 points from 11 matches.
The Minna-based side will hope to return to winning ways when they face Wikki Tourists this weekend at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.
