Niger Tornadoes have received approval to stage their home fixtures in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna.
The facility had initially failed to meet the NPFL’s standards for hosting top-flight matches this season, forcing the club to play their opening fixture at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium, Ilorin.
With clearance now granted, the Ikon Allah Boys are set to welcome Bayelsa United in Minna on Sunday in their next home encounter.
“Temporarily, we are playing our next home game against Bayelsa United in Minna,” a club official confirmed to reporters.
Niger Tornadoes currently sit on three points from their first two matches of the new campaign.
