Niger Tornadoes have received clearance to stage their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) home matches at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna.
The stadium had initially failed to meet the league’s requirements for hosting top-flight fixtures, forcing the Ikon Allah Boys to play their opening match of the season at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin.
With the latest approval, Tornadoes will now welcome Bayelsa United to Minna in their next home encounter on Sunday.
“Temporarily, we are playing our next home game against Bayelsa United in Minna,” a club official confirmed to reporters.
The Minna-based side have collected three points from their first two fixtures of the campaign.
