The Nationwide League One (NLO) has officially unveiled the schedule and lineup for the 2025 NLO Cup, confirming that this year’s edition will take place from Monday, December 8 to Wednesday, December 10, 2025. The annual competition is set to be staged at Bwari Stadium in Abuja, as preparations intensify for the three-day football event.
A total of eight clubs have been selected to battle for the title in what promises to be a competitive showcase of grassroots football talent across Nigeria. The participating teams include Dante FC (FCT), Likeminds FC (FCT), Jnr Danburam FC of Daura (Katsina), HB FC (FCT), Lapai FA (Niger), FC Nasarawa, Galadima FC (FCT), S1 14 FC (Nasarawa) and Simonben FC (Kaduna).
The NLO emphasized that this year’s tournament will continue to promote youth development and provide a platform for emerging stars to gain national visibility.
Last year’s maiden edition concluded with Tudun Wada FC emerging champions after defeating Palm Syrup in the final, a victory that set a high standard for subsequent editions.
With anticipation already building across the participating states, the 2025 NLO Cup is expected to deliver exciting fixtures, strong regional representation, and increased attention from scouts and football stakeholders.
