Reality TV star and entrepreneur Natacha Akide, widely known as Tacha, has achieved two Guinness World Records for completing an extraordinary number of makeup transformations within limited time frames.
The records were officially certified after the former Big Brother Naija housemate carried out 82 cosmetic makeovers in eight hours and a total of 143 makeovers within 24 hours.
The feat was accomplished during the Tacha Beauty Festival, a three-day event held in October 2025 at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History.
Announcing the achievement on social media, Tacha shared photos of the official Guinness World Records plaques and reflected on the effort required to complete the challenge.
She said organising the beauty festival and attempting the record-breaking makeup sessions came with several obstacles, including last-minute withdrawal of sponsorship support from some brands.
According to her, doubts also emerged from people who questioned whether one person could successfully balance multiple roles while maintaining professional expertise in makeup artistry.
Despite the challenges, the entrepreneur said she remained determined to prove that it was possible.
Tacha explained that her hands-on approach to projects often requires her to be deeply involved in every stage of execution, a work style she described as necessary to achieve the standards she expects.
She also credited her faith and perseverance for helping her complete the demanding challenge.
The reality TV star dedicated the achievement to women who continue to pursue their dreams despite facing skepticism or personal doubts.
In her message, she encouraged women to remain focused on their goals and believe in their ability to achieve them.
Tacha rose to national prominence after appearing on Big Brother Naija and has since built a career spanning entrepreneurship, entertainment, and advocacy.
Her latest accomplishment adds a global recognition to her expanding portfolio within Nigeria’s beauty and creative industries.
