Nasarawa Amazons have officially named Nwoha Confidence as the club’s captain for the 2025–26 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season. The Lafia-based side confirmed the appointment on Wednesday, with Ohaegbulem Oluchi selected to serve as her deputy.
The Amazons will be looking to improve on last season’s performance, when Chris Danjuma’s team finished as runners-up to Bayelsa Queens. Confidence and her teammates will begin their campaign with a home clash against Delta Queens at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday, aiming to kick off the season with a strong statement.
