The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has carried out precision airstrikes on Turba Hill and Kachalla Dogo Sule’s Camp in Zamfara State as part of Operation FANSAN YAMMA, aimed at denying criminals safe havens, weakening their combat capabilities, and supporting joint efforts to restore peace and security across Nigeria’s North-West region.
The strikes, conducted on 28 December 2025, targeted two major bandit enclaves identified through credible multi-source intelligence, resulting in the elimination of several bandits and the dismantling of a key IED production and operational hub.
The first strike focused on Turba Hill, a confirmed bandit hideout. Surveillance revealed significant activity and a zinc-roofed structure central to the group’s operations. Precision engagement led to the complete destruction of the structure and neutralization of several bandits.
The second mission targeted Kachalla Dogo Sule’s Camp, notorious for manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and linked to recent attacks along the Dan Sadau–Magami axis.
The airstrike destroyed multiple structures, triggered intense fires, and effectively crippled the bandits’ IED production and operational capabilities.
The NAF described the operations as a major success in degrading bandit networks in Zamfara State and reaffirmed its commitment to continued joint efforts to restore lasting peace and security across the North-West region.
