Nigerian rapper and singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, popularly known as Mr Real, has expressed concern about potential security threats in Lagos following a vivid and unsettling dream.
In a post shared on social media, the artist described seeing armed bandits infiltrating the city, abducting people from nightclubs and office buildings. He noted that many of his past dreams have later manifested, which adds weight to his current warning.
“My mind has been unsettled since yesterday because of what I’ve been seeing,” Mr Real wrote. “I dreamt that bandits entered Lagos, taking people from clubs and offices. About 70% of my past dreams have come true.”
While stressing that his goal is not to incite panic, Mr Real urged Lagos residents to remain vigilant and aware of the current security climate.
His warning comes shortly after Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams, cautioned that armed groups have infiltrated several South-West communities, including Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, and Lagos, with intentions to stage coordinated attacks.
The rapper’s message adds to growing public concerns over security in the region, highlighting the need for heightened awareness and preparedness.
