Afrobeats singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, widely known as Mr Eazi, has publicly debunked rumours suggesting that he and his wife, Temi Otedola, recently became parents.
The speculation spread rapidly on social media after an influencer, identified as Kolaqhazim, shared an image on X that appeared to show Temi holding a newborn baby. The post, which was later identified as AI-generated, claimed the couple had welcomed a baby girl following their long-term relationship.
Within hours, the post gained widespread attention, attracting congratulatory messages from fans who believed the announcement to be genuine.
Mr Eazi, however, quickly addressed the claim in a light-hearted manner. Reacting online, the singer questioned the authenticity of the report with a brief but pointed comment, asking whether his wife was even aware of the alleged development.
The response effectively dispelled the rumours and highlighted the growing concern around misinformation and digitally altered content circulating on social media platforms.
Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola, a fashion entrepreneur and the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, got married last year in a series of high-profile ceremonies held across Monaco, Dubai and Iceland.
Neither Mr Eazi nor Temi has announced the arrival of a child, and no official statement has been made to suggest the claims are true.
