Nollywood actress Motilola Akinlami has acknowledged the role of Femi Adebayo in settling a dispute between her and filmmaker Kunle Afod.
The disagreement, which previously played out on social media, was eventually resolved through Adebayo’s intervention, bringing an end to the public tension between both parties.
Speaking in a recent interview, Akinlami described the situation as emotionally challenging, especially given the level of respect she holds for Afod. She admitted that the conflict escalated to a point where she resorted to calling out her boss publicly, something she said she found deeply uncomfortable.
According to the actress, Adebayo stepped in at a critical moment and encouraged both sides to pursue peace. She noted that the reconciliation process also uncovered how some individuals had been fueling the disagreement with misleading information.
Akinlami commended Adebayo’s calm and peace-driven approach, describing him as someone who avoids unnecessary drama. She expressed appreciation for his efforts in restoring harmony.
Confirming the outcome, the actress said she and Afod have now resolved their differences and rebuilt their professional relationship. She added that the experience has brought closure and renewed understanding between them.
