Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of late singer Mohbad, has marked her son Liam’s birthday with a heartfelt message, reaffirming her love and commitment to his well-being.
In a post shared on Instagram, she described her son, Eyinimofeoluwa Liam, as her “heartbeat,” expressing pride in being his mother and pledging to do everything possible to ensure his safety and happiness.
She emphasised her role as his protector and supporter, noting that his joy remains her top priority.
The celebration comes amid an ongoing paternity dispute involving the child. Joseph Aloba has sought a DNA test to confirm the biological father of Liam, a move that has generated public attention.
A Magistrate Court sitting in Ikorodu, Lagos, presided over by Adefisoye Sonuga, recently ordered that a DNA test be conducted following an application filed by the late singer’s father.
The legal proceedings have added another layer to the family’s situation since Mohbad’s death in September 2023.
Despite the ongoing dispute, Omowunmi’s message focused on celebrating her son, highlighting her dedication to raising him in a safe and supportive environment.
