Niger Tornadoes head coach Majin Mohammed has praised his side’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bayelsa United at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna, on Sunday.
Mohammed credited the large turnout of fans for inspiring the players throughout the encounter, which was decided by Ismaila Sarki’s goal.
“I want to appreciate everyone here for the massive turn out and the support we got this evening. I think that was the motivating factor that gingered the boys,” Mohammed said after the game.
The Tornadoes’ disciplined and organized defensive display helped them secure all three points, moving the club up to sixth position on the NPFL table with six points.
