Controversial Nigerian entertainer and TikTok personality, DJ Chicken, has reportedly been assaulted by an angry mob after a car accident in Sagamu, Ogun State.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred on Saturday when the entertainer allegedly rammed his vehicle into two motorcycles while driving along a narrow road.
A viral video circulating online showed DJ Chicken stepping out of his car in an attempt to assist the victims before being mobbed and beaten by onlookers. The footage also captured a woman believed to be his passenger lying on the ground with visible injuries and bleeding from her leg.
Voices in the background of the clip claimed the entertainer was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
The incident has stirred outrage on social media, with many Nigerians criticizing both the alleged reckless driving and the mob’s violent response.
This marks the second time in less than a month that DJ Chicken has been linked to a road incident. Three weeks ago, he was accused of a hit-and-run in the same area.
Authorities in Ogun State are yet to issue an official statement regarding the latest development.
