Actress and producer Mo Bimpe has joined the chorus of celebrities congratulating Funke Akindele following her historic box office achievement with Behind The Scenes.
The filmmaker recently became the first Nollywood producer to cross ₦2 billion at the box office, a milestone widely celebrated across the industry.
On Instagram, Bimpe hailed Akindele as the “Queen of the Box Office,” commending her for continuously shattering records and setting new standards in Nollywood.
Describing the achievement as inspiring, Bimpe wrote, “My Queen has shattered records again! I was so sure this would happen and was just patiently waiting. The record breaker! Congratulations, my mama. This is huge.”
She further lauded Akindele as Africa’s highest-grossing filmmaker, calling her the “undisputed Multibillion Queen of the Box Office,” and emphasized that the filmmaker’s accomplishments motivate others in the industry.
Bimpe also encouraged audiences to continue supporting the film, noting that Behind The Scenes is still showing in cinemas nationwide.
