Nollywood actor Mike Folarin has shared his discomfort over certain encounters with fans, revealing that some female admirers have crossed personal boundaries in public settings.
Speaking during a candid interview with VJ Adams, the actor disclosed that he has experienced unsolicited physical advances from fans, including being kissed without his consent. He described the incident as one of the most uncomfortable moments he has faced since joining the entertainment industry.
According to Folarin, the experience occurred at a nightclub in Lagos, where he believes the atmosphere and intoxication may have influenced the behaviour of those involved. However, he stressed that such actions are unacceptable regardless of the setting.
The actor noted that while he appreciates the love and support from fans, admiration should never come at the expense of personal boundaries. He emphasised that consent is essential in all interactions, whether involving celebrities or private individuals.
