Rada Cheang, the ex-fiancée of Ghanaian-American comedian Michael Blackson, has publicly dismissed his recent apology, calling it “the most pathetic post or apology ever.”
Her response came days after Blackson took to Instagram to apologise for fathering a child with another woman just two months after Rada gave birth to their son, Mikey.
In her own Instagram post, Rada expressed deep disappointment, saying she once loved Blackson profoundly but had stopped viewing him as a man.
“When love runs that deep, you stop seeing the man and start seeing the boy who just wanted to be loved, and that’s what breaks you,” she wrote.
The model admitted she stayed in the relationship longer than she should have, describing it as a “circus.” She also stated that she was never truly Blackson’s type, adding, “His type was never me because I’m a real woman.”
Rada went on to say she is now prioritizing peace and focusing her energy on her four-month-old son.
“I’m walking in peace, guided by God’s grace. My energy belongs to my 4-month-old son, not to negativity,” she wrote.
Michael Blackson, who recently confirmed the birth of another son, King Kweku Blackson, with a longtime friend, had earlier expressed regret for his actions. He promised to be a more responsible father while jokingly stating that he would only date women who can no longer have children “to avoid turning into Nick Cannon.”
Rada’s response has stirred conversations online, with many social media users commending her candour and decision to move forward.
