The E1 World Championship is gearing up for a dramatic season-ending showdown in Miami, marking the series’ first-ever race on American waters just weeks after its historic African debut at the E1 Lagos GP. The title-deciding event will take place from Friday, November 7 to Saturday, November 8.
The E1 Championship — the world’s pioneering all-electric powerboat racing series — launched last year in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and continues to expand its global footprint. Nigeria hosted the penultimate race in October, where Team Brazil captured their maiden victory in the series, adding momentum and intrigue ahead of the finale.
Heading into Miami, the championship battle remains incredibly tight. Defending winners, Team Brady, hold a slim three-point advantage over nearest rivals Team Rafa, while only 20 points separate the top four contenders. Among them is Miami-born DJ Steve Aoki’s team, injecting even more local excitement into the season’s climax, where precision, split-second decisions, and minimal margins will determine the eventual champions.
The finale will unfold at the Miami Seaplane Base, where Team Miami — owned by award-winning singer Marc Anthony — prepares to compete on home waters in front of an energized local crowd. Adding North American firepower to the lineup are pilots Sara Price (Team Westbrook), John Peeters (Team Blue Rising), and Rusty Wyatt (Team Alula), each poised to deliver strong performances that could reshape the championship standings.
With electric boats, high-speed competition, and global star-powered teams, Miami is primed for a spectacular closing chapter to the 2025 E1 season.
