Controversial Nigerian social media influencer Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, widely known as Mandy Kiss, has alleged that some individuals are plotting to have her forcibly admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
In a post shared on her social media page, Mandy Kiss expressed fear over what she described as an unjustified attempt to label her mentally unstable.
“Please Nigerians, have mercy on me. I am not mentally ill. I am only trying to make a living,” she pleaded. “They are using an excuse to take me to a psychiatric hospital. Everything I do online is for content and to trend.”
The influencer emphasized that she is mentally sound and that her often controversial social media antics are part of her career as a content creator.
Her comments come weeks after she sparked outrage with a statement about her intention to break a Guinness World Record by sleeping with 100 men in one day, a declaration that drew heavy backlash online.
Following the criticism, Mandy Kiss later clarified that the statement was made purely for entertainment purposes and was not reflective of her real-life intentions.
Despite her string of controversies, Mandy Kiss was recently appointed a brand ambassador for the Lagos State Kicks Against Drug Abuse (LASKADA) initiative, a development that has since divided public opinion.
While some Nigerians questioned the decision, others argued that her influence among young audiences could help amplify the campaign’s message on drug awareness and responsible living.
