Manchester United face potential squad challenges ahead of their Premier League fixture against Everton on Monday, with at least three key players missing training this week.
Slovenian forward Benjamin Sesko was absent, according to the UK Mirror. The 20-year-old limped off during the recent clash with Tottenham Hotspur before the international break and left the pitch immediately for treatment, with reports suggesting he may not return to action until next year.
Veteran defender Harry Maguire and young midfielder Kobbie Mainoo were also not present during Friday’s training session, raising further concerns for manager Ruben Amorim.
If Sesko is unavailable, Amorim could maintain the tactical setup used against Spurs, potentially deploying Amad alongside Bryan Mbeumo, with Matheus Cunha leading the attack in a false nine role.
The absences add pressure on United’s squad as they look to maintain momentum in the Premier League.
