A form four student at St Albertina Kiongwani Girls in Makueni County may miss this year’s KCSE examination as he has remained suspended since last term after being found in possession of chewing gum in school.
According to the girl’s mother, the school administration is now demanding that they purchase chewing gum for 580 students, at a total cost of 16,800 shillings. Failure to do so, the school insists, the student will not be allowed back to school.
