Atalanta coach Ivan Juric has confirmed that Ademola Lookman will be available for Saturday’s Serie A clash against Juventus, as the Nigeria international continues his reintegration following a turbulent summer transfer saga.
Juric told reporters on Friday that both Lookman and teammate Charles De Ketelaere will feature in the squad for the trip to Turin, praising their gradual return to full fitness.
Lookman, 27, made his first appearance of the season last weekend as an 87th-minute substitute against Torino after months of uncertainty over his future. The winger had pushed for a move—drawing interest from Inter Milan—but no deal materialised.
Following a brief absence and public accusations of unfair treatment, Lookman made a dramatic U-turn, returned to training, and apologised to teammates, with Juric attributing the episode to “bad advice” from those around him.
Italian reports say Atalanta now consider the matter closed and have no plans to sell Lookman in January, with the club intent on keeping the forward for the entire season.
