Liverpool forward Hugo Ekitike has revealed that Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake is one of his favourite music artists.
The French striker made the disclosure during a recent interview with ESPN UK, where he was asked to name three artists he enjoys listening to the most.
Responding to the question, Ekitike listed Asake, alongside American rappers Gunna and NBA YoungBoy, as his top three.
“Gunna, Asake, and NBA YoungBoy are the best three artists I love to listen to,” the 22-year-old said.
Ekitike, who joined Liverpool earlier this year, also mentioned football icons Thierry Henry, Didier Drogba, and Mohamed Salah as his greatest players of all time, a nod to his admiration for both French and African football legends.
