Reality TV star and rapper Olamilekan Agbeleshebioba has revealed that he struggled internally after emerging as the winner of Big Brother Naija in 2020.
In a recently shared video, the entertainer spoke candidly about how the sudden fame that followed his victory left him feeling disconnected from his own thoughts for more than a year.
Laycon explained that he lost what he described as his “inner voice” shortly after the show ended. According to him, the silence within persisted until December 2021, when he held his sold-out concert, The Icons Fest.
Reflecting on the experience, the rapper posed a question to viewers about moments when the world seems quiet and only one’s thoughts remain.
He recounted that after winning the reality show, he found it difficult to hear that internal guidance again until the period following the concert.
Laycon said that when the voice eventually returned, it confronted him with several introspective questions about his life and happiness.
According to him, the questions included whether he truly enjoyed the lifestyle he was living and what direction he wanted his life to take next.
The artist noted that these thoughts prompted him to spend time alone reflecting on his personal journey. Through that period of reflection, he said he faced difficult but necessary truths about himself.
Laycon also highlighted the value of solitude and silence, describing them as important tools for personal development.
He encouraged fans to create time for self-reflection, saying the practice can help individuals examine their lives honestly and take responsibility for their personal growth.
