The late Nollywood actress Ajara Lasisi, popularly known as Aunty Ajara, has been laid to rest following her death after a prolonged illness.
The actress was buried on Thursday in an emotional ceremony attended by family members, colleagues, and residents of her community. Islamic burial rites were observed as mourners gathered to offer prayers and bid her a final farewell.
Photos and videos from the burial, which later surfaced online, showed a sombre atmosphere as relatives and well-wishers stood by her graveside during the rites. A few colleagues from the Nollywood industry were also present to honour the late actress.

In the days before her death, colleagues and supporters had publicly appealed for financial assistance to support her medical treatment, drawing widespread attention and goodwill from Nigerians both within the country and abroad.
Following her passing, her management announced that donations were no longer required and urged the public to discontinue sending money to the previously shared account details.
