The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State has intensified its digital membership upgrade as Comrade Ayodele Adewale led a high level Train the Trainer session for the ongoing E Registration exercise.
The session held earlier this week at the APC Lagos State Secretariat in Ogba, brought together senatorial administrators and key stakeholders responsible for executing the digital transition across the state. The development was disclosed in a press release issued by the party.
Adewale, who is the APC Lagos State Organising Secretary and State Coordinator for the E Registration programme, has been central to coordinating the rollout across all 20 local government areas.
According to a statement, Adewale said the digital registration “will enhance effective planning and mobilisation, improve demographic identification, strengthen party members financial contribution structures, facilitate the seamless conduct of party primaries, and provide a platform for efficient information dissemination and strategic decision making.”
The session drew a high powered delegation led by Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, Deputy Chairman of the Lagos State Governors Advisory Council, alongside several senior GAC leaders including Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Chief Henry Oladele Ajomale, Chief Tunde Balogun, Alhaji Mutiu Are and Hon Jumoke Okoya Thomas. APC Lagos State Chairman Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi was also in attendance.
Party leaders praised the efficiency of the training and the preparedness of the team. They described Adewale’s presentation as “highly educational and enlightening” and commended the “competence” and “dedication” of his team. They reaffirmed Lagos State’s readiness to complete the training before the end of November, describing the state as a model in the APC’s nationwide digital modernisation agenda.
Adewale encouraged local government and ward leaders to mobilise members effectively and ensure they arrive with their NIN and Voters Card, noting that the state is positioned to register “five million and more members,” which he said would be the highest figure in the country.
During the demonstration, Dr Seriki Muritala registered Alhaji Mutiu Are as the first person to be digitally enrolled at the ward level in Lagos State.
The press release also noted that the Lagos team had earlier participated in a regional workshop held on 3 and 4 October 2025 by APC ICT consultants and officials from the party’s national headquarters, led by Dr Umar Majigi.
The exercise had been formally flagged off by Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu, represented by Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, alongside members of the APC National Working Committee.
With strong institutional backing and coordinated training across all tiers of the party, the statement added that Lagos remains on track to deliver one of the most advanced and extensive digital membership databases in Nigeria’s political landscape.
