Kwara United head coach Tunde Sanni is optimistic his side will overturn their deficit when they face Asante Kotoko in the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round tie this Sunday.
The Harmony Boys suffered a 4-3 defeat in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium, but will qualify with a 1-0 win in the return fixture at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta.
“Our assumption is not what we met. They are a bit luckier today, that’s it. They are a bit luckier, but they are coming to meet us at home,” Sanni told reporters after the game.
