Dami Marshall, daughter of Fuji legend King WasiAyinde Marshall (KWAM 1), has denied rumours linking her romantically with singer Asake.
The speculation arose after Dami posted a photo with the Afrobeats star at a recent event, captioned, “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” which fueled online dating rumours.
Addressing the claims on Instagram, Dami clarified that the photo simply marked her first meeting with Asake. She warned fans not to trust blogs that often sensationalize content for traffic.
“Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic,” she wrote.
Asake, who previously dated his Gambian girlfriend Madame Mystique until 2014, is not publicly known to be in a romantic relationship.
The post has since helped put an end to the speculation, with fans praising Dami for addressing the rumours directly.
