Kun Khalifat FC has announced the cancellation of gate fees for all their remaining home fixtures in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The decision was contained in a statement signed on Friday by the club’s president, Micheal Amaefula. According to the club, the initiative is designed to boost fan support and bring the excitement of NPFL football closer to the people.
The free-entry policy will begin with Kun Khalifat’s next home match against Plateau United on Sunday, November 30, at the Dan Anyiam Stadium.
Part of the statement reads: “Starting with our next NPFL home game against Plateau United on Sunday, November 30, the gates at the Dan Anyiam Stadium will be thrown completely free of charge. From that match onward, every home game for the remainder of the season will be free access for all.”
The club added that the move aims to deepen community engagement and strengthen support for the “Pride of Imo State.”
Meanwhile, Kun Khalifat FC is scheduled to face Warri Wolves in Ozoro this weekend.
