Kun Khalifat have officially named former Nigeria international Emmanuel Osigwe as the club’s new head coach. His appointment follows the dismissal of Obinna Uzoho, who was relieved of his duties last week after the team played out a 1-1 draw at home against Nasarawa United.
Osigwe steps into the role with immediate effect and is expected to stabilise the team as they push for improved performances in the ongoing campaign. The club also confirmed that Chinedu Okonkwo, a holder of the CAF B Coaching Licence, will serve as Osigwe’s assistant.
The leadership change marks a fresh chapter for Kun Khalifat as they look to reposition their technical bench and strengthen competitiveness for the remainder of the season.
