Former Big Brother Naija housemate Kiddwaya has stirred social media reactions after describing his “occupation” as simply living and enjoying his father’s wealth.
In a candid conversation on the Off The Record podcast, the reality TV star, son of Nigerian billionaire Terry Waya, said he has no interest in pursuing work or business, insisting he is comfortable living life on his own terms.
“What I do for a living is that I wake up, decide what destination I want to fly to, and I go there with my boys and girls to have fun. We drink, eat, and party, and we repeat,” he said.
Calling himself a “man of leisure,” Kiddwaya said his philosophy is to live life to the fullest without bowing to societal pressure to appear hardworking or entrepreneurial.
“I’m not interested in working. I could say I’m into oil and trade, but that’s not my truth. I’m a rich man’s son, and I’m living my life January to January. I’m having fun,” he stated.
The 30-year-old added that marriage won’t change his lifestyle, noting that he would only marry someone who shares his carefree approach to life.
Despite his controversial remarks, Kiddwaya maintained that he “works hard” to protect his integrity and his family’s reputation, explaining that many in his position might have misused their privileges.
His comments have since ignited debate online, with some critics accusing him of flaunting privilege, while others praised him for being honest about his reality.
