Content creator Kenzy Udosen has praised Facebook for shaping a new wave of young digital creators, describing the platform as a space where creativity, discovery, and meaningful community interactions thrive.
Facebook, which attracts millions of young adults daily, has evolved into a vibrant hub for shared interests, cultural conversations, and creator–audience connection. For Udosen, who began creating content in 2019 and joined the platform in 2020, Facebook quickly became instrumental to his rise.
He noted that the platform’s vast user base offered the exposure he needed. “Facebook has quite a vast number of users, and I needed to tap into that… to date, I have the largest number of followers on Facebook,” he said.
Udosen attributes part of his success to creator-focused tools introduced by Meta. He highlighted the Professional Dashboard, which helps him track performance and refine his strategy, and the Meta Business Suite, which enables him to manage high volumes of engagement and direct fan interactions. Facebook’s built-in editing tools, he added, make content production faster and more dynamic.
Beyond features and analytics, Udosen said what truly distinguishes Facebook is its deep sense of community. He described the platform’s engagement style as warm, immersive, and conversational. “On Facebook, the interactions feel more like a living room conversation than a passing comment on the street. My followers don’t just like a post; they live inside it,” he said.
The creator also praised Facebook Stars, a feature that allows fans to financially support creators during live sessions or reels. Udosen said earnings from Stars have reinforced Facebook’s position as a platform that values and rewards creators.
Reflecting on his creative style, Udosen likened his evolution to preparing jollof rice, consistent at the base but flexible enough to adapt to trends. While he incorporates new ideas, his signature blend of humour, cultural storytelling, and the familiar African/Nigerian mother persona remains constant.
He encouraged aspiring creators to build authenticity before chasing virality. “Know your voice before you chase views. Engage like a human, not a broadcast station. Study your analytics and adapt without losing your identity,” he advised.
Udosen’s journey highlights Facebook’s expanding influence in the creator economy, offering tools, reach, and community-driven engagement that help content creators sharpen their craft and achieve sustainable growth.
